Welcome to Rare Roots Market Garden in the heart of the Fens. We specialise in growing Heirloom varieties of Fruits & Vegetables that aren't usually commercially available. We grow the types of vegetables forgotten by time and we aim to grow them using organic methods and bring them to your dinner plates all season.
We Pride ourselves on Growing these weird and wonderful vegetables from a time where Taste and nutrition mattered more than the weight or shelf life. Commercial supermarkets have flooded the markets with Bland generic varieties that have been bred focusing on how long they last on their shelves and how much they weigh. Overtime this as well as poor farming practices has taken its toll on the nutritional value of veg and ultimately the nutrition you and your family receive.

Perfect for 1-2 People. Weekly box with Plenty of Fresh Fruit & Vegetables. All our Veg is seasonal and we grow everything you receive.
All our Produce is grown using Organic feeds and no Till we aim to work alongside nature to deliver you food that will nourish you and your family in a way you cant get from Supermarkets.
The Produce included changes throughout the year but we always try and make it good value we also include discounts for special products and a description of the variety’s of Veg you get along with a brief history.

This Box will feed 2-4 People. It comes full of Fresh Heirloom Vegetables. All The produce is grown in our Market garden using organic low impact techniques.
All the varieties of vegetables have been specially selected for taste and nutrient content. Some of our variety's are ancient and stem from a time where vegetables breeding focused on more than shelf life and weight.
We like to focus on vegetables that have unique tastes and a lot of these we supply to professional chefs in the area.
Boxes are delivered weekly within a 20 mile radius of Peterborough. Although the veg in the boxes changes throughout the year we work hard to bring you value for money whilst providing produce your not used to.
This Veg Box will feed 4-6 People and its the largest we do, Full of Fresh Heirloom Vegetables grown on our farm and delivered straight to your door weekly.
We specialise in Unusual vegetable variety’s that you wont find in a supermarket. the variety’s we grow have been selected for taste and nutrient density not shelf life and weight.
All our veg is seasonal so the boxes change with the seasons , we always try and offer good value as well as providing nutrient dense food for you and your family.
